The occupiers sent doctors from St. Petersburg to the temporarily occupied Melitopol to treat their personnel.
In the TOT, the enemy has a significant shortage of personnel in all areas, because the majority of the population either left the region or does not cooperate with the enemy. As for the doctors, the occupiers still do not trust Ukrainian doctors, because they understand that they are invaders here.
Therefore, the Russian Federation is forced to bring its doctors on a rotational basis in order to provide access to its wounded occupiers. Currently, the medical system of the region is collapsing and serves only the military and those who need urgent care.
The National Resistance Center notes that Russian “tourers” do not have social guarantees from the Kremlin and, in fact, in the event of a tragic accident in the TOT, their family will not receive compensation.
