Fuel shortages worsening in Crimea due to disruptions in logistics

The humanitarian crisis is intensifying on the temporarily occupied peninsula.

Fuel problems have been observed in Crimea since September. Since there was a decrease in the volume of fuel shipments from Russian oil refineries to TOT of the Republic of Crimea. The supply of fuel is due to a violation of logistics routes and also to a reduced purchasing power among the peninsula inhabitants.

The Russian occupation administration aims to create new mechanisms for subsidizing individual gas station networks in order to avoid future fuel price increases. However, this decision will create prerequisites for closing those gas stations that will not receive subsidies.

The National Resistance Center is grateful to the peninsula underground for informing, and also reminds about the rules of safe information transmission.
