Not only in cities such as Mariupol, Donetsk, or the Crimean resorts, real estate is a tasty morsel for Russian invaders.
Recently, in the temporarily occupied Horlivka, it became known that several buildings on Peremohy Avenue were recognized as “ownerless.” And this status was assigned to the properties not even by the Russian invaders, but by local collaborators who have long dreamed of taking possession of promising square meters.
Since the beginning of the occupation, the Kremlin’s henchmen have developed a criminal scheme to misappropriate property in the TOT of Ukraine. First, it is recognized as “ownerless”, then in a short time it is “nationalized” and they become the “legal” owners of someone else’s private property.
The National Resistance Center emphasizes that all legal acts issued by Russia are legally invalid, and homeowners will retain their rights to property as of February 24, 2022, regardless of what documents the invaders issue.
Anyone can stop the policy of the Russian invaders and their collaborators by publicizing their crimes and demanding their international prosecution. You can also participate in rallies in support of Ukraine or donate to the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
