Hryvnias continue to be used at TOT despite the occupiers’ ban

In the temporarily occupied territories, the russians banned the circulation of the hryvnia from January 1, but the locals ignored the ban.

Only supermarkets, which were seized during the occupation by russians, stick to the ban. Markets and small shops continue to accept hryvnias, in particular in banking areas.

This situation very well illustrates the legitimacy of the russian government, whose laws are ignored by the local population, which does not accept the enemy’s currency.

Note that the enemy is putting pressure on business to give up the hryvnia. In particular, the enemy even withdraws POS-terminals. The result was a decrease in goods and a shortage on the shelves of local stores.
