The eighth training of mercenaries for the war in Ukraine ended in Belarus. According to the information of the Belarusian underground, the “granit” special forces unit underwent combat coordination here. The training was conducted by the same instructors from the “Wagner” PMC, who found refuge in the territory of Russia’s ally.
The main task of the newly created units will be sabotage work on the territory of Ukraine. Wagnerites conduct classes in engineering and firearms training, tactical medicine. The main weapons for such units are manual anti-tank grenade launchers, automatic grenade launchers and Kalashnikov machine guns.
At the beginning of February, the intelligence of Great Britain reported that there are less than a thousand terrorists of the “Wagner” remaining in Belarus, but “this plays into the hands of the Kremlin and affects Ukraine.” Most likely, this is due to the fact that the regime in Belarus does not yet satisfy Wagner instructors with its level of payment for services, as a result, most instructors do not plan to stay in the country for a long time and flee to Africa. They are paid more there.
