Kostyantyn Ivashchenko, the self-proclaimed head of the Mariupol occupation authorities, has actually been removed from power in the city.
The occupiers gave all the power to the Russian Dmitry Berdnikov, who was officially appointed to the post of Ivashchenko’s deputy. Before Mariupol, Berdnikov was the deputy head of the government of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) and the mayor of Irkutsk.
That is, we have a typical scenario of occupation, when traitors perform only representative functions and are needed by the Russians as political extras for “referendums” and imitation of the love of local people and people’s power.
When the need for such imitation disappears, traitors are removed from power, sometimes with subsequent liquidation.
We will remind you that earlier the Russians removed from real power the collaborators of the Kherson Region – Saldo and Streymousov, handing over power in the region to Serhiy Eliseyev.
