In Melitopol, the occupiers are looking for partisans

Local police conduct raids on public transport.

In the temporarily occupied Melitopol and its district, Russian occupation forces are conducting an operation to search for the local underground. This time they are using their own police officers. The Russians called it a security check of public transport. However, the first thing they check during bus stops is not the drivers and their documents, but the passengers.

The police demand to see Russian passports. In general, they check documents, phones and the contents of bags and pockets.

The National Resistance Centre reminds us that it is necessary to follow the safety rules for travelling to the TOT and to inform the Defence Forces about the movement and location of the enemy.

More information on how to resist the occupiers can be found in the practical advice section.
