At least ten apartments of local residents have been recognized by the occupiers as “ownerless,” and they are ready to move in any willing laborers. The collaborators deprived the owners of their property rights through the court. The reason was the impossibility of proper registration of ownership due to the lack of a Russian passport. This practice of alienating property from Ukrainians has become commonplace since Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
