In the TOT of Luhansk Region, the Enemy Imposes Books About “Heroes of the Special Military Operation” on Schoolchildren to Further Indoctrinate Them

The Russian occupation forces continue their relentless propaganda campaign, instilling the cult of so-called “heroes of the special military operation” among Ukrainian children in the temporarily occupied territories (TOT). At the same time, the Russian occupation administration is systematically rewriting the school curriculum, distorting reality to fit the Kremlin’s shameful narratives.

As part of this effort, the occupiers are preparing to introduce the “works” of so-called “military writers” into the educational process. These individuals, who have actively participated in Russia’s war of aggression against Ukraine, aim to indoctrinate children in the TOT with a falsified version of the Russian-Ukrainian war—justifying Russia’s crimes against the Ukrainian people.

One such propagandist is Andrey Tuznikov, a Russian war criminal who took part in the capture and destruction of Luhansk Airport in 2014. Now, he uses his false narratives to depict military actions of the past and present in his fabricated “publications,” which the occupiers brazenly intend to include in the school curriculum in the TOT.

The National Resistance Center underscores that the occupiers are waging war not only with weapons but also through systematic information warfare targeting the younger generation of Ukrainians. By rewriting history, distorting facts, and erasing Ukrainian national identity, the enemy seeks to indoctrinate Ukrainian children from an early age, raising a generation that thinks solely in Kremlin narratives.

You can stop the policy of the Russian invaders and their collaborators by publicizing their crimes and demanding their international prosecution. You can also participate in rallies in support of Ukraine or donate to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
