The Russian occupation administration in the temporarily occupied territories of Luhansk region continues to ignore the critical state of the infrastructure, which is the result of years of neglect and theft of local resources.
Thus, the occupiers announced the closure of several bridges in Luhansk due to their emergency condition, which caused complete traffic chaos in the city.
These are the bridges on 395 Shakhtarska Diviziya, Kominterna and Dachna streets, which have been gradually collapsing over the past few years due to lack of proper repair. Moreover, the situation has deteriorated significantly due to the constant movement of heavy military equipment of the occupiers, which has made the structures unstable and dangerous for local residents to use. According to available information, bridges literally shake when multi-ton vehicles are driving, creating a real threat of collapse.
Despite the occupation administration’s constant announcements of “major repairs,” the situation never solves the key problems, instead becoming another scheme for embezzlement. Such actions only create the illusion of “restoration” of the occupied territories, while local residents are forced to move around the emergency facilities, risking their lives.
People in the TOT of Ukraine should understand that the enemy has only one goal – to use the Ukrainian people and their lands only as a tool to continue its war of aggression, leaving the locals to fend for themselves and not caring about their social problems.
