Lenin’s holiday of free labor, or the well-known Soviet Saturday, was somewhat delayed in Berdyansk. Cleaning school grounds was not limited to one Saturday. Saturday stretched out for almost a week. Schoolchildren here are forced to put in order not only the adjacent territories, but also the squares outside them.
Everything is going on like in the good old school days – showing off and students’ reluctance to do meaningless work. In general, everything comes down to a large-scale photo session with the appropriate tools.
But such actions do not solve the problem of unsanitary conditions in temporarily occupied cities and villages of Ukraine. The lack of janitors and housing workers in the annexed territories is simply critical and reaches more than 80 percent.
