The occupiers’ appetite for Ukrainian property in the TOT is only growing. And to “squeeze” real estate, the Russians have come up with another scheme.
In the temporarily occupied Melitopol, the Kremlin’s henchmen decided to “recalculate” the utility debts of local residents. They started counting from the beginning of the Russian mayor’s arrival in the city, despite promises to write off the arrears. As a result, people have sky-high amounts that they cannot pay. As a result, the Russians would seize the property and confiscate it in favor of the “young republic” for the debts.
However, it is not only real estate in large cities in the TOT of Ukraine that has become a tidbit for the occupiers. Recently, in the temporarily occupied Horlivka, it became known that several buildings on Peremohy Avenue were recognized as “ownerless.”
You can stop the policy of the Russian invaders and their collaborators by publicizing their crimes and demanding their international prosecution. You can also participate in rallies in support of Ukraine or donate to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
