In the temporarily occupied territories, Russians are trying to recruit suspects of any criminal offenses into their army.
For example, an investigator who pressures a suspect in a case to sign a contract with the Russian Armed Forces in exchange for dropping charges receives a 10 thousand ruble bonus. Thus, the repressive apparatus of the invaders’ Ministry of Internal Affairs is interested in putting pressure on detainees and there have been cases of physical beatings demanding contracts.
At the same time, the police have set a target of 10% of all detainees in the region. This is the way the enemy plans to fulfill the plan to mobilize to the TOT, as the plans have failed due to the unwillingness of the locals to serve in the occupier’s army.
It should be noted that the recruitment of residents of the occupied territories is a violation of international law, which is deliberately violated by the invaders. However, the perpetrators of this crime are not protected, as they are unnecessary witnesses for the Kremlin.
You can stop the policy of the Russian invaders and their collaborators by publicizing their crimes and demanding their international prosecution. You can also participate in rallies in support of Ukraine or donate to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
