The Christmas and New Year period has become another season for propaganda campaigns organized by the occupiers for Ukrainian children in the TOT. In particular, children who have not been deported from Ukraine are regularly taken to “educational events” in Russia to influence their minds.
This time, children from the temporarily occupied Donetsk region were taken to Yekaterinburg for a so-called yolka (Christmas fest). However, the trip includes a number of events and lectures during which Kremlin propagandists talk about Russian identity and the great prospects for these children in Russia. The older ones are mostly persuaded to stay here to study. The “tour” will last two weeks.
In general, Russians are committing genocide against Ukrainians in the 21st century, denying the right of the Ukrainian nation to exist. One of the aspects of this policy is an attempt to change the self-identification of Ukrainian children and assimilate an entire generation of Ukrainians with Russians.
You can stop the policy of the Russian invaders and their collaborators by publicizing their crimes and demanding their international prosecution. You can also participate in rallies in support of Ukraine or donate to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
