The Kalmius River has turned into a floating landfill for industrial emissions, household waste and sewage.
The situation is particularly critical near the temporarily occupied Mariupol. The water here is toxic, has a yellow-brown color and a pungent unpleasant odor. And this is not surprising, because the Russian occupiers are trying to hide traces of their terrorist activities in the river. It goes so far that contractors brought to the city destroyed by Kremlin missiles from all regions of Muscovy dump construction waste into the river. Now the riverbed is almost completely filled in, and the water flow has decreased fivefold.
Given the crisis with fresh water in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine, this behavior of the occupiers only worsens the situation. For example, in the temporarily occupied Tavriysk, the situation with water supply is completely out of control. The Russian occupation authorities are unable to overcome the crisis, which they have actually caused themselves. To put it mildly, the taps in the city are filled with industrial water that cannot be used for cooking or drinking.
You can stop the policy of the Russian invaders and their collaborators by publicizing their crimes and demanding their international prosecution. You can also participate in rallies in support of Ukraine or donate to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
