The Russian occupiers cannot find people willing to “study” in their fake universities, which they established in the invaded premises of Ukrainian universities.
The occupiers took over the premises of Kherson State University in June and created the “Kherson State University” with visiting specialists and handful of collaborators. But they can’t find students to apply. The admissions campaign failed and now the “university” offers a “unique opportunity” to be admitted without entrance exams or credentials. And of course, there is a unique chance to graduate from this university without a diploma, but the invaders are not talking about it.
We note that the situation is similar in Melitopol. The invaders occupied the buildings and all the property of two universities, the B.Khmelnytsky Pedagogical University of Melitopol and D.Motorny Taurian State Agro-Technological University, and a “new university” of Melitopol was created there. Several dozen teachers agreed to cooperate with the occupiers, but the students decided not to receive knowledge from the traitors and unrecognized diplomas at the end of this process. So, the “universities” have staff and premises but do not have anyone to study.
