Barely a third of the required number of public transport drivers in the temporarily occupied Luhansk are working. The rest were simply taken by the Russians to fight in the war at the beginning of the full-scale invasion. To this day, the occupation authorities cannot find at least 300 drivers to keep the city’s routes running.
Meanwhile, the local occupation administration is preparing another “improvement”. On the agenda is an increase in fares, which, according to them, should help improve the quality of transportation. However, local residents do not believe this. The total shortage of drivers caused by mass mobilization to the occupier’s army, as well as the deterioration of the vehicle fleet, cannot be solved by raising fares.
You can stop the policy of the Russian invaders and their collaborators by publicizing their crimes and demanding their international prosecution. You can also participate in rallies in support of Ukraine or donate to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
