The Russian side continues to actively disseminate and promote its fakes and narratives aimed at discrediting the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the country’s leadership as a whole. The goal pursued by the hostile media is to undermine the confidence of the Ukrainian population in the top military and political leadership of Ukraine.
Thus, the main narrative promoted by the enemy propaganda is accusing Ukraine of possible terrorist attacks and sabotage at the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant, as the occupiers are preparing an information alibi for themselves before the next possible terrorist attack. In this context, the advisor to the head of Rosenergoatom, Renat Karchaa, stated that “ZNPP is the property of Russia and that it is Ukraine that wants to attack the plant.”
Simultaneously, the message about “aggressive NATO that does not want peace” is being spread, based on the statement of Dmitry Medvedev, who recently noted that “if NATO and the United States stopped supplying weapons to Ukraine, the war would end in a few months.”
The third narrative of propaganda is traditionally aimed at spreading fake information that the Russian occupation forces in the southern direction destroyed about 80 Western-made tanks and 120 armored vehicles of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
In general, it is clear that the Russian side is aware of the successful results of the counteroffensive actions of the Ukrainian Defense Forces, and therefore counts on the information segment. However, the invaders are also successfully losing the information war against Ukraine.
The National Resistance Center calls on all citizens of Ukraine, especially those who are temporarily in the TOT, to receive information exclusively from official Ukrainian state resources.
