Russians are trying to legitimize pseudo-elections in the temporarily occupied territories.
The main reason for the raids conducted by the occupiers in the TOT in advance of the “elections” was the conclusions drawn from the local fake poll in September 2023. It is when the residents of the temporarily occupied territories massively sabotaged the pseudo-elections: they had not been opening the doors, ignored visits to polling stations, etc. So the occupiers decided to conduct raids in advance to record the houses and apartments where people live.
Currently, the so-called “members of the election commissions of the Russian Federation” are making rounds. They collect information and campaign for participation in the Russian presidential “elections.” They illegally record conversations. They also ask residents on the record whether they will “vote” or know when the elections are.
The National Resistance Center notes that each member of the so-called election commission will be held responsible for organizing the illegal “elections.” Moreover, such activities are quite dangerous for health.
