Occupants continue systematic destruction of Mariupol

Thus, under the guise of “restoration” activities in the temporarily occupied Mariupol, the occupiers began dismantling the historic city center, destroying buildings of historical value. There are not many such buildings left, as the occupiers have destroyed a significant part of the city with their massive shelling. Therefore, in the central part of the city, representatives of the Russian authorities decided to allow the construction of so-called “new” housing under mortgage for Russians from depressed regions of Russia and Asian immigrants. This is a deliberate policy aimed at changing the ethnic composition of the population and creating the illusion of “returning life” to the destroyed city.

At the same time, residents of Mariupol are left homeless, as they are not allocated compensatory apartments – all construction is aimed exclusively at resettling Russians. Despite the occupiers’ loud statements about “repairs,” construction work has been frozen due to lack of adequate funding, and the imported workers constantly complain about non-payment of wages. Therefore, the occupiers often make only cosmetic repairs to the facades, while the inside of the houses remain uninhabitable. However, the picture for the Russian media is presented in the best traditions of the Russian propaganda machine.

The Center of National Resistance emphasizes that no matter how hard the enemy tries to make Mariupol Russian, it will never succeed, because the soul of this city is blue and yellow.

You can stop the policy of the Russian invaders and their collaborators by publicizing their crimes and demanding their international prosecution. You can also participate in rallies in support of Ukraine or donate to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
