The occupiers continued to work on merging the remnants of the Wagnerites into a new structure under the auspices of the Russian Ministry of Defence.
The working name of the new PMC is the “Russian Expeditionary Corps”, which is supposed to unite all PMCs operating in African countries. Interestingly, the structure is being formed based on the 45th Special Purpose Detached Brigade (Kubinka), whose units are gradually being withdrawn from the combat zone in Ukraine.
The total number of terrorists involved in operations abroad is expected to be around 20,000.
According to information from the local underground, there are less than 1,000 Wagnerites left in Belarus. Currently, 200 of them remain instructors in the special units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Ministry of Defence of Belarus.
