The Russian occupation administration is systematically exploiting children in the temporarily occupied territories (TOT) as a means to legitimize its aggression and erase their Ukrainian identity. In the “Kolokolchyk” kindergarten in Skadovsk, Kherson region, the occupiers held a so-called “lesson” titled “Our Army is Native”, where children were forced to draw images of Russian war criminals and military equipment.
These Kremlin-organized “events” serve a clear and singular purpose — to instill a positive perception of the invading army in young Ukrainians from an early age, fostering loyalty to the occupiers and justifying their crimes while methodically eradicating Ukrainian identity.
The enemy manipulates “vivid” imagery of Russian “soldiers, pilots, and sailors” to create a distorted worldview in which children are made to “admire” those who brought war, destruction, and death to their homeland.
These disgraceful actions are part of the systematic militarization of education in the TOT, where collaborating educators transform classrooms into instruments of Russian military propaganda.
The National Resistance Center emphasizes that using children for propaganda and indoctrinating them with anti-Ukrainian ideology constitute gross violations of international law. All those responsible will, sooner or later, face just punishment.
You can stop the policy of the Russian invaders and their collaborators by publicizing their crimes and demanding their international prosecution. You can also participate in rallies in support of Ukraine or donate to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
