Vyacheslav Dondokov, a member of the local parliament of Buryatia, has released information on the scale of Russian troop losses during last year’s offensive by Ukrainian forces in Zaporizhzhia region.
It turned out that only one enemy tactical medical group (a staging area) was passing through about 1,100 wounded per month.
According to Ukrainian intelligence sources, there were 11 such groups in Zaporizhzhia region. This means that in 2023, Russian troops lost more than 12,000 wounded per month in Zaporizhzhia region alone.
This data does not include those killed directly on the battlefield and prisoners of war. In addition, about a quarter of the wounded brought to the staging area by the Russians do not survive.
Dondokov posted this information on his Vkontakte page (https://archive.ph/SvGcQ) in response to the dirt published on him by his political opponents.

The presentation includes figures on Russian military casualties, as well as photos of their injuries and the work of the medics.
Dondokov is one of the public “heroes of war” whom the Kremlin authorities are trying to use to popularize aggressive war among the Russian population. In particular, he participates in Putin’s Time of Heroes program, which promotes the idea of creating a so-called “new elite” in Russia from war veterans.
The reasons for Dondokov’s actions in making the presentation public are not clear. It was accompanied by an emotional post about a “dirty information campaign” against him. Apparently, Dondokov was accused of not actually fulfilling his functions in the war.
Dondokov’s presentation made it possible to identify the location of the Russian hospital. This place turned out to be the Azov secondary school of the I-III levels of the Rozivska settlement of the Zaporizhzhia region (47.45220382463069, 37.11493854199306).
This once again confirms that Russians use schools and kindergartens as military objectives.
In addition, recent posts on Russian “volunteer” channels indicate that the Russians have been using the school as a military objective since at least August 2024.
