In the temporarily occupied territories, a farce called the “election of the president of the Russian Federation” continues.
As part of this propaganda campaign, which is aimed at creating the illusion of local support for the occupation, the Russians are currently collecting signatures in support of the “candidate,” Vladimir Putin, who is officially an international criminal.
Signatures are collected by “volunteers” who go around locals’ houses, accompanied by the Russian military. However, despite the forced nature of the process and the organization of a collection among employees of “state institutions”, the enemy has collected as many as 5 thousand signatures so far.
The National Resistance Center urges people to continue to ignore the occupiers’ initiatives, not to participate in the “elections,” and, if possible, not to open the door to Russian visitor performers.
