Almost every day, the occupation authorities in Luhansk and Donetsk tell tales of mine development and investment excitement around the region’s coal mining industry. However, practice shows otherwise.
Investors only accelerate the decline of the industry. And while the cutting of equipment can still be temporarily hidden behind the screen of an allegedly expected reconstruction, the dismantling of power systems, transformers and the disconnection of high-voltage lines supplying electricity to mines indicate the opposite. Such processes are taking place in Novodruzhesk, Pryvillia, and Hirske.
The invaders have effectively killed the coal mining industry in the TOT of Ukraine. Most mines are closed and looted. There is a shortage of miners in the region, and those who remain have not been paid for months.
The National Resistance Centre calls for reporting collaborators so that each of them does not escape punishment for crimes against humanity.Anyone can stop the policy of the Russian invaders and their collaborators by publicizing their crimes and demanding their international prosecution. You can also participate in rallies in support of Ukraine or donate to the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
