By the end of the first academic quarter, a textbook on “unmanned aerial systems” will be delivered to the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine. It was published in Russia by the drone manufacturer Geoscan and the “Prosveshchenie”(Enlightenment) publishing house. It is emphasized that the manual was created to implement the federal project “Personnel for the UAVs”. The federal project “Personnel for UAVs” is part of the Kremlin’s project to develop unmanned aerial systems.
The book includes chapters on the classification and structure of drones, the basics of manual piloting, the design, and applications of UAVs, including military ones. It is expected that students will make drones in practical classes.
It should be reminded that each region of Russia, including the so-called “new” (occupied) ones, will receive about 301 million rubles to purchase equipment for lessons on the development, production and operation of FPVs.
The involvement of children in the production of combat drones is a gross violation of international law and another indication of the cynicism of the Kremlin’s military machine. An entire generation of Ukrainian youth is being drawn into the process of militarization, creating the impression that the war brought to our land by Putin’s Russia is the norm.
