The fake Matusowski academy of culture and arts in the temporarily occupied Luhansk will send its students to russia for internships. Mostly to so-called rehabilitation centres for russian terrorists. There, they will work in local clubs and entertain russian so-called ‘heroes’ with cultural events.
Such an industrial practice for cultural studies students is a part of the kremlin’s policy of occupying the territories of Ukraine. First and foremost, to russify the youth and destroy their Ukrainian self-identity. Additionally, to impose a sense of belonging to the concept of the “russian world” (“russkiy mir”) – a nationalist ideology promoted by the kremlin that seeks to unite russian-speaking populations under a shared cultural and political identity, often used to justify aggression and expansionism – while simultaneously legitimizing the crimes of terrorists. And the Luhansk “academy” of culture and arts is not the only one.
You can stop the policy of the russian invaders and their collaborators by publicizing their crimes and demanding their international prosecution. You can also participate in rallies in support of Ukraine or donate to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
