The occupiers check the residents of the temporarily occupied territories for loyalty to the Russian regime.
Due to the low level of support for the occupation, the Russians decided to create a base of “disloyal residents”. To do this, the occupation administrations began a mass check of Ukrainians.
In particular, such events take place in the TOT of Kherson region and Luhansk region. As part of “counter-subversive actions”, the Russians check residents for the presence of relatives in the free territories of Ukraine and whether they maintain contact with them.
The National Resistance Center Emphasizes that everyone involved in putting pressure on Ukrainians and helping the occupiers to establish their power will bear responsibility for their actions after the de-occupation of the region.
