On January 13, Russia celebrated Press Day. On this occasion, the Kremlin gathered its leading propagandists to recognize their loyal service to Putin’s ideology of the “Russian World.” Particular attention was given to collaborators from the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.
Among those honored as mouthpieces of the Kremlin were Vladimir Emelyanov, the “general director” of the Union TV company operating in the quasi-state entity of the Donetsk people’s republic (DPR), and its editor-in-chief, Victoria Melnikova. From the so-called Luhansk people’s republic (LPR), the “chief editor” of the newspaper Republic, Oleksandr Balvas, and his “colleague,” Svetlana Yurova, were recognized as the most devoted propagandists.
The day before the awards, collaborators coerced preschool children from the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine to draw pictures expressing gratitude to Putin.
You can stop the policy of the Russian invaders and their collaborators by publicizing their crimes and demanding their international prosecution. You can also participate in rallies in support of Ukraine or donate to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
