The occupiers are trying to impose their pseudo-holidays on TOT

In the TOT of the south and east of Ukraine, the Russian occupation administrations are actively implementing the Kremlin’s order to introduce the Russian “holiday” calendar. In particular, today, on the last Sunday of November, Russians “celebrate Mother’s Day”.

The occupiers are trying their best to use content-neutral measures to “pacify” the population and create an atmosphere of “normal life”, because, as they note in their “congratulations”, these are holidays to which “no one can remain indifferent”.

So what values are the Russians trying to impose through all these greetings with which they have now flooded information resources on TOT? Greetings are as neutral as possible without mentioning military actions. They were separately emphasized at local “concerts” where covert campaigning for Putin’s “United Russia” party was also carried out. However, in the content of such speeches, it can be seen that women are exclusively assigned the task of giving birth, raising “real men” and, at a minimum, engaging in state affairs.

Ukrainians have been resisting the Russian occupiers for 21 months and have had the opportunity to see for themselves “what it is like to be raised by Russian mothers.” As of today, nearly 325,000 occupiers have been killed or severely maimed, with even more moderately and lightly injured. This is commensurate with the available data on the population of Arkhangelsk or Belgorod. However, we did not see any significant performance of their mothers. On the contrary, many of them sent their sons to commit crimes on the territory of Ukraine.

According to reports from citizens who are on the TOT, 20 to 30 cases of robbery with intent to cause bodily harm, rape, theft of movable property, or forceful seizure of a residence are recorded. And from the interceptions of the occupiers’ conversations with their wives and mothers, we hear how they rejoice at every such fact. They wait a moment to move into the apartments “liberated” from the Ukrainians.

The National Resistance Center urges you to avoid participating in these pseudo-celebrations and to distance your children from them. If this cannot be avoided, engage in these activities as formally as possible. You can also inform our Telegram bot about the organizers and collaborators of these events.
