The occupiers carry on appropriating the real estate of Ukrainian citizens on the TOT

The Russian occupation authorities continue to violate the rights of people in the temporarily occupied territories of eastern and southern Ukraine, especially human rights. The most common violation of human rights in the occupied territories this year is the violation of the right to property.

The Russian occupation forces, together with representatives of local occupation administrations as well as other members of illegal armed groups, systematically appropriated or destroyed the property of local residents. Therefore, citizens of Ukraine who were forced to leave the occupied territories currently do not have the opportunity to confirm real estate ownership. In this regard, the occupation authorities do not hesitate to help their “defenders of the fatherland”, combat veterans, especially those who took an active part during the large-scale invasion.

In addition, many properties in the TOT are also used for military purposes, in particular, to accommodate personnel and equipment of the Russian occupation forces.

The National Resistance Center calls on the local population in the TOT to continue transmitting information about the enemy, as this is the most effective way to speed up the liberation of the occupied territories.
