The occupiers took out 3,500 prisoners from the places of deprivation of liberty in the temporarily occupied territories of the Zaporizhia and Kherson regions.
The prisoners were transported against their will to the Crimea, where the Wagner is now campaigning to join their terrorist organization. However, the majority refuses to enter into a contract, and because of their refusal, the Russians have created unbearable conditions for them.
Note that we are talking about those prisoners who were convicted of criminal offenses in Ukraine and were in prisons before the start of the full-scale invasion. Instead, the Russians continue to keep Ukrainians suspected of disloyalty to the authorities in “basements”.
We will remind you that the Russians intend to open 27 penal colonies in the temporarily occupied territories. In this way, the enemy plans to officially register existing prisons and detention camps for Ukrainians.
