In 2024, the Kremlin plans to hold an “international youth festival” in the temporarily occupied territories of the Luhansk region.
This will be just one of the regional venues for Moscow’s propaganda event. ” The “internationality” of the festival will be ensured by Russian agents of influence and marginalised people recruited by Rossotrudnichestvo around the world.
In total, they plan to recruit henchmen from 180 countries. Marginalised people from 40 countries will be brought to the Luhansk region, while the occupation administration has trained 150 youth collaborators to participate in the festival.
All of this is a cultural influence event that Moscow will sell to its own population as the world’s support for its Nazi policy as opposed to voting in the UN and international isolation.
