In the TOT, the Moscow regime plans to provide the region with its own textbooks for learning the Russian language and “correct” history.
Thus, Kabardino-Balkaria will give the Kherson region 1200 new textbooks. In particular, the textbooks include such topics as the history of Russia from 1914 to 1945, “1945—the beginning of the XXI century,” and “World History.” Banners with occupation symbols will also be transferred to decorate school premises.
This is part of the occupation administration’s efforts to impose its version of history and culture in Ukrainian schools under temporary occupation. In this way, the Russians continue their deliberate policy of changing the identification of Ukrainian children, which falls under the definition of genocide.
Thus, the occupiers are trying to influence the minds of the youngest generation by importing Russian textbooks and imposing their version of history. Through education, they seek to form a distorted view of reality in children and consolidate control over the Ukrainian population by changing the minds of future generations.
