Ukraine is preparing to repel a new Russian offensive. Kremlin plans to mobilize 300 thousand troops.

News is spreading in the Russian media space that the Kremlin may use the spring conscripts to free up forces for new offensives.

The massive recruitment is expected to replenish the ranks of the formations currently deployed along the Ukrainian border in the Bryansk, Kursk, and Belgorod regions. At the same time, recruitment and partial mobilization to the TOT will intensify, thanks to updated data during the pseudo-elections. The Kremlin plans to use these units for a new offensive from the East. They intend to deploy reservists and conscripts to positions along the border, who will be immediately agitated to sign a contract.

In general, this set of measures is called “mobilization 2.0.” It is stated that there is a plan to cover up to 300,000 people, while during the regular conscription 120,000 people were drafted.

The Russian military and political leadership intend to close this gap of 180,000 by implementing several measures: conscription, work with conscripts who were to be demobilized, the use of reservists and “reserve officers,” and the recruitment of civilians for contract service.

According to the Russian “ministry of attack,” this number is allegedly necessary to resume offensive actions in the direction of Kharkiv. And those mobilized to the TOT will be used to staff units concentrated in the Svatove direction.

Are such plans realistic? It is likely that the Kremlin is planning such a bold operation because this is how their generals fight—with an onslaught of manpower. After the “Novorossiya” project’s failure, Russians constantly compared it to the pseudo-state formation of the Donetsk–Kryvyi Rih Soviet Republic. There has been a noticeable reorientation to the plan to create a reincarnation of the “Ukrainian SSR” with its capital in Kharkiv.

Regardless of whether the Russian army will be able to gather such considerable manpower, it is currently strengthening and equipping new defensive borders on the border with Russia. Citizens in the TOT are threatened with mobilization to the occupation forces, and in addition to men, women doctors may also be subject to mobilization.

Every Ukrainian must realize that the Russians’ goal is to seize our country and destroy everything that forms the Ukrainian identity. We must prepare to defend our homes along the entire length of the Ukrainian border with Russia and Belarus. Report all facts about any Russian maneuvers along our borders or in the TOT to the Resistance.Bot.
