Ukraine’s Resistance Center warns of criminal liability for members of fake polling stations

Law enforcement officers identified 150 collaborators who contributed to the organization of the pseudo-referendum in the Kherson region

We are talking about those who, accompanied by the Russian military, visited the locals and threatened people with weapons, intimidated and forced them to take part in the so-called “referendum”.

There are cases when no one opened the door in the apartment, then the military broke down the door. Cases were also recorded when people who spoke out against joining Russia were taken away by the Russian military in an unknown direction.

In Kherson, the police established the identities of 72 members of the so-called “electoral commissions” from among local residents who voluntarily took the positions of the so-called heads of polling stations, their deputies, and members of election commissions. In Chornobayivka, the identities of 14 collaborators who contributed to the “referendum” were established.

In the city of Kakhovka and the Kakhovka district, 28 local residents voluntarily took the positions of so-called heads of polling stations, their deputies and members of election commissions.

Also, the police established that in the city of Kakhovka, a local collaborator who manages a utility company forced the employees of the utility service to vote in the referendum.

In Skadovsk, the police established the identities of 15 members of the so-called “electoral commissions” among local residents who cooperate with the occupation authorities and voluntarily took the positions of the so-called heads of polling stations, their deputies, and members of election commissions.

In the city of Henichesk and the Heniche district, the police established the identities of 22 local traitors – members of the “electoral commissions”

According to all the facts, the police opened criminal proceedings under Art. 110 “Encroachment on the territorial integrity and inviolability of Ukraine” and Art. 111-1 “Collaborative activity” of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. Traitors face imprisonment from 5 to 10 years and confiscation of property.

Ukraine’s Resistance Center emphasizes that none of the collaborators will remain unpunished.
