Today Ukraine celebrates the Day of Partisan Glory. These days, this holiday is another reason to remember those who have been fighting behind enemy lines for more than two years.
Unknown to the general public, these heroes risk their lives every day to collect and transmit data to the Defense Forces on the location of enemy depots and personnel. The resistance movement is committing sabotage: blowing up bridges and railroads and killing collaborators. Ukrainians who do not have a military background mark the space with their native symbols and sabotage Russian initiatives.
In a situation where the enemy denies the existence of the Ukrainian nation and pursues a policy of forced Russification of the region, the vast majority of the TOT population preserves traditions, refuses Russian passports and secretly teaches children in Ukrainian schools.
The enemy is weakening and resorting to senseless terror because it realizes that time, circumstances and the local population are playing against it. In these conditions, every act of our heroes is of greater importance. Therefore, on this day, the National Resistance Center calls on us to remember those who are making the history of the Ukrainian underground right now.
