An analysis of the information space in the TOT of southern and eastern Ukraine shows a continuing trend of deterioration in the social-economic situation for the population of the occupied regions.
In particular, the unemployment rate among the TOT citizens of Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Kherson, and Zaporizhzhia regions is increasing, and the occupation administrations have resorted to a centralized solution – they have introduced a so-called “special procedure for registering the population in “employment centers”.
This decision provides for the possibility of obtaining the status of “unemployed” and applying for social unemployment benefits under the legislation of the Russian Federation.
However, the National Resistance Center reminds that such decisions of the occupation administrations indicate the social-economic decline of the territories occupied by the Kremlin. There is a high probability of further involvement of citizens who have registered with the so-called “employment centers” in forced labor or recruitment into the ranks of the occupation authorities or the army.
