The Kremlin’s policy continues to deprive residents of the Donetsk agglomeration of water. The Don-Donbass water pipeline built by the occupiers is not working.
Residents of Donetsk are experiencing interruptions in water supply as the Siverskyi Donets-Donbas water pipeline is not functioning due to the hostilities. To solve the problem, the occupiers spent two years building a new water pipeline from the Don, but its capacity did not solve the problem, and water is still supplied to Donetsk according to the schedule.
Now, due to the power outage in Russia, the pumping stations of the newly built canal are out of order, and the water supply system has stopped completely. Repairs will take months, and the water situation in the occupied territories has deteriorated.
The Center of National Resistance notes that under international law, it is the occupier who is responsible for ensuring life support in the occupied territories. Anyone can stop the policy of the Russian invaders and their collaborators by publicising their crimes and demanding their international prosecution. You can also participate in rallies in support of Ukraine or donate to the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
