Because of the problem with their own identity, Russians suffer from cultural and historical kleptomania. Stealing history and rewriting it as one’s own is all that Russia is capable of. And they start, of course, from the school desk. New textbooks on history, where there is no longer Kyivan Rus, but only Rus, are now massively imported to TOT. And this is no longer “History of Ukraine”, but “History of Russia”.
That is why, from September 1, 2025, the number of hours for the study of history will be increased in schools in the temporarily occupied territories of the Kherson region. In grades 5-8 there will be three lessons a week, in grades nine – two hours each. This is what the occupying authorities and their collaborators, who have the task of emasculating all Ukrainians from the local population and, first of all, the young generation, flaunt.
But the occupiers simply burn Ukrainian textbooks. Everything is the same as it was done in Nazi Germany. And who are the fascists here?
