The occupiers have created a “regional branch of the Russian Union of Journalists” in the temporarily occupied territories of Luhansk region.
The occupiers are opening similar branches in other occupied regions. In fact, these branches are supervised by Russians and are needed to centrally coordinate the “party line” between the pseudo-media created by the occupiers.
The head of the fake structure in the Luhansk region is Yevhen Murilev, a former organizer of occupation beauty contests and later an employee of the “Ministry of Internal Affairs of the LPR”. Currently, he is the deputy head of the All-Russian State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company (abbreviated as VGTRK) in the TOT of Luhansk region.
That is, the occupation hilfspolizei will imitate a journalist and monitor the “journalists” gathered from the street who are spreading Russian propaganda in an organized manner through a network of newly created media.
Another task of the “journalists’ union” is to organize trips of “journalists” to Moscow for training, where they will be taught how to brainwash Ukrainians.
It should be noted that working for the Russian state media or media financed by Russian grants is a criminal offense for which everyone will be punished.
Earlier, Russians set up “news agencies” in Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions. They were headed by Russians, in particular, by Alexander Malykovich from St. Petersburg.
The Kremlin is also planning to create a new “news agency” on the temporarily occupied lands of Donetsk and Luhansk regions, where recruited foreign journalists will work.
