The occupiers plan to distribute new “history” textbooks in educational institutions in the TOT.
In the temporarily occupied territories, measures aimed at destroying Ukrainian identity continue. In particular, the Kremlin intends to introduce new textbooks on the so-called “modern history” in secondary education institutions controlled by the occupiers. The textbooks will be ideologically coloured, to spread narratives about the “liberation of Ukrainian lands” and impose its propaganda about “Nazis sitting in Kyiv”. In general, the so-called textbooks have nothing to do with history or literature.
The campaign to replace the book stock in the TOT continues. Russians are systematically destroying Ukrainian literature and trying to replace it with their books.
