The occupiers kidnap children from the TOT of Luhansk region

The occupiers planned to conduct new “medical examinations” for the children of the TOT of Luhansk region in order to prepare them for further deportation to the territory of the Russian Federation.

The so-called “medical examinations” in the temporarily occupied territories are just a fiction, which the Russians use as a pretext for further deportation of children to the Russian Federation. No medical examinations are actually carried out, but children are given fake diagnoses and this is used to take them “for treatment” in medical institutions of the Russian Federation.

This procedure is a component of the state policy of the Russian Federation aimed at the genocide of Ukrainians. Thus, the government of the Russian Federation has allocated more than 1.4 million rubles for “preventive medical examinations” in 2023. This process is managed by Maria Lvova-Belova, Putin’s commissioner for children’s rights. On March 17, 2023, the International Criminal Court in The Hague issued an arrest warrant for Lvova-Belova and Putin for the illegal deportation of Ukrainian children.

The National Resistance Center urges TOT residents not to allow their children to undergo any “medical examinations” conducted by the occupiers. This will only lead to children being forcibly taken “for treatment” to the Russian Federation, where they will eventually end up in Russian orphanages.
